Camera 1
Screen share and recording
The work on the screen is recorded for the session.
Show me data
Show me data is what a candidate does on a test, not what they say on a profile. You choose the tests. Each one is priced per test. Prices are not published yet.
Camera 1
The work on the screen is recorded for the session.
Camera 2
A second camera shows the person, so a proctor can see who is taking the test.
A human proctor is on every session. No outside help, and no AI unless the test allows it.
The menu
Spoken and written English, scored while a human proctor watches.
Order it when the role needs clear English with a US team and self-reported English is not enough.
How someone learns and solves unfamiliar problems.
Order it as one signal among several. It is not a pass-fail filter on its own.
Typing speed under a proctor.
Order it when the work is writing-heavy and speed matters.
How someone thinks through a problem without an AI assistant.
Pick this when you want a no-AI floor: the candidate works alone, with a human proctor and two cameras.
A 2-hour build. AI is allowed.
Pick this when you want to see someone build with AI, not without it.
A paired-programming session. The candidate talks through choices while they build.
Pick this when you want a live working session, closer to a pairing interview than a take-home.
No-AI floor
Use this when you want to see someone think without an assistant. The proctor and the two cameras are there so the work is theirs.
AI allowed
Use this when the job is building with AI. The candidate can use AI. The proctor still watches both cameras.
Arca.ph does not pick a side. You can order the no-AI coding test, the AI-allowed hackathon, or both. The Fire Drill is the live pairing option.
You will be able to order tests from your agent. That is not live yet.
